“ Our server was Rodrigo and he was outstanding. All the food runners and assistants were attentive and well trained. We had a 10 am breakfast on a Saturday morning as guests at The Wave. The restaurant was almost empty, and we sat at a lovely booth in the bright sun. The coffee was Lavazza and was strong and fresh and had a wonderful bouquet. Our breakfast of scrambled eggs sourdough bread crispy bacon and a well seasoned roasted potato was delicious. We finished off our meal with a delicious cake with strawberries, special whipped cream. It was indulgent and sinful and ah so good. A well managed kitchen and restaurant. If a guest at the hotel don't pass this up for breakfast. ”

“ Looks like Lake Nona area and particularly Wave hotel's Haven is a new must visit. We've been there over the weekend celebrating my friend's birthday. The place is definitely beautiful the design is amazing and there are lots of picture opportunities. We messed up with our reservation and had to wait for the table. The wait was about 45 minutes which is pretty reasonable for such a busy location on the weekends. We were able to get spots at the bar and properly enjoyed the drinks and appetizers. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Customer service is definitely top notch. I was not crazy about the choice of music but it's just me. The atmosphere is very festive and will definitely be back ”

“ Food - 4.5 Service - 5 Ambiance 5 I have been here twice. It is located on the second floor of the Wave Hotel. The decor is unique, eclectic, well thought out, swanky... both the restaurant and the hotel reminds me of South Beach. The lighting, seating; it is modern, cozy, and fun at the same time. It is equally good for a date and for a friends night out. The food is always good. The most recent time I went, I got a quick bite of the Heirloom Tomato & Burrata, SO delicious. Tomatoes were fresh, the dressing was flavorful, would definitely get this again. ”

“ Great spot for drinks or dinner! The servers are knowledgable and friendly. The restaurant is upscale but has a variety of comfort items on the menu as well as unique tries. Definitely recommend watching the sun set over the palm trees the bar looks over. ”

“ I can't stop thinking about the Ricotta Beignets! I'd been wanting to try this place and finally went for brunch with some girlfriends. The restaurant is beautiful, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I had the Grilled Oysters, Smoked Salmon, Ricotta Beignets, and a Peach Bellini. The smoked salmon with pita, tzatziki, and pickled onions was a tasty twist on traditional lox. We loved the oysters so much we ordered more. Our server was attentive and gave us great recommendations. I'll definitely be returning! ”

“ What an amazing hotel and restaurant. I went there for my birthday in April, it was super fun and the food was really good. The staff could have been more attentive as they were not very busy at all at the time. The food is pretty big so feel free to share! Plus, the views are very pretty! The music isn't very loud, but the cherry blossom tree was my favorite part. ”

“ The food was so delicious!! Party of 6 adults, ALL enjoyed the magical dinning options! The ambiance is gorgeously decorated and lively. The scenery is modern and fun. TVs are on around the bar with sports on. Still quiet enough to converse. Unfortunately, the service lacked in a few areas. Although our server was friendly, we had to ask for refills constantly, especially because when we asked, he would only refill the one persons cup and then the next person would have to ask next time we caught him for their cup of water.. ect. We were celebrating a birthday and we spoke about that with the host and the server. This was forgotten. Time management was an issue, we waited about 45 minutes after finishing our appetizers for our main entrees to arrive and when they arrived they had not cleared our table beforehand. Same thing happened after the meal, waiting for dessert for about 45mins and then we were told that a selection of the listed dessert options was no longer available. When the desserts arrived, (table had not been cleared- again) and it was only for some of the table, and the others had to wait another 20minutes for their dessert which at that point we were all done. All in all, we were truly pleased with all the food provided but the service deemed this an unpleasant experience, especially for a birthday celebration. I was a bit embarrassed because I was the one who planned it. I'm giving 4 stars because the food was great and I'm PRAYING that their service improves! ”

“ This is such a unique cute place. The ambiance is stunning and the food quality is great too. We tried it twice during our stay at the Wave hotel. We ordered the Haven breakfast and their skillet. Both were great and delicious. The service was excellent both times and I liked their cold pressed fresh juices as well - the beet and green one. See photos of the food below. We enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely return. As for the prices, each dish is about $25 or so. Our total for two people was $100 each day. But I liked this place and will come back! ”

“ Let me start by saying that the ambiance here is absolutely stunning. The walls are adorned with lush greenery, and the overall design is modern and inviting. It's easy to be charmed by the luxury and aesthetic of the place. I particularly loved the color palette: dark teal, green, and peach, if I recall correctly. We started with the calamari appetizer, which included some fried octopus and fried lemons - an intriguing yet pleasant twist. The turkey and avocado sandwich, while tasty, was something I could have easily made myself at home, so a bit underwhelming. The pumpkin cheesecake was the highlight of the meal. It came with poundcake croutons, chocolate ganache, and cinnamon ice cream, and it was truly divine. I often add cinnamon to my ice cream at home for a "kick", so I was glad to see they served actual cinnamon ice cream with this dessert. It was well-balanced overall, but I think adding a hint of coffee could have enhanced its flavor profile even more. Also, the ice cream could have been less sweet. The service was exceptional! Braulio was incredibly friendly and accommodating. When I asked for a gin & tonic with crushed black pepper and cucumber, he stared at me in silence for a bit, admitting it was the first time he had seen this order in his 20 years in the industry. He even checked with me on how I wanted the pepper in it, on the rim or inside, and later checked back with me to see how I enjoyed the drink. When I mentioned it was a bit too peppery, he brought an extra glass of tonic water to dilute it. Gracias de nuevo, Braulio! ”
